Prestigious Air Craft concorde
The history of aircraft manufacturing is full of so many exciting designs and displays. A flying machine concept has got the maximum significance and has turned to a vital manufacturing industry since decades. The first solo flight took place almost 100 years ago and now we can talk about supersonic aircrafts carrying passengers across the various countries. The capacity to carry luggage and passengers has elevated to highest standards. An experience of economy, first and business class is available openly for all.Keeping in view, the supersonic prestigious aircrafts, the BAC Concorde aircraft was designed as a turbojet powered supersonic passenger airliner. The major design and manufacturing was done by the Anglo-French government treaty. The aircraft began to enter in service with British Airways in 1976.
The British Aviation minister and the Ambassador of France signed a preliminary agreement for co-operation. The decision was taken that France and Britain will share equally in both the costs of producing aircraft and the profits from the sales in future. Four leading companies got the contract for work on the SST.The British aircraft corporation and Sud aviation took the responsibility to manufacture the airframe. Again two companies Bristol Siddeley from Britain and SNECMA from France will design and manufacture the Olympus 593-jet engines.
A management group was decided and organized within the two governments and a government financed programme started to move forward. A’mini Concorde aircraft’ was designed and an experimental flight took place. While in September 1965, work started on basic airframe however, in 1969, the French Concorde made its first take off run. The British Concorde also flew in England. These two aircrafts were also displayed at the Paris air show, the same year. The Londoners voiced the first complaint about noise levels when the aircraft landed on Heathrow airport.
The successful flights of Concorde settled new standards in aviation history and by 1982 the Concorde had been in service, more than 6 years. The history again took a new turn and we find that 2000 Air France Concorde crashed in Paris killing 109 passengers and crew and 4 on ground people.
Beside this serious accident Concorde remains an icon in the history of aviation and yet it is claimed to be the best aircraft ever made.

Cultural Diversity in the Workplace
With increasing globalisation, quite a few businesses have forayed into newer territory to capture newer market audiences. This has led to the need for better understanding of the new consumers gained by the company so as to optimise business practices and profit. Most organisations have turned to hiring locals in order to facilitate business in newer markets as locals understand the market better in cultural perspectives and are thus more easily able to relate to consumer demands.
Research has also suggested that companies that are using diversity as a tool are experiencing improved employee satisfaction, productivity and retention potential. This enhances the overall inclusion of the company and aids the business case of creating and managing diversity. Businesses that are utilising these benefits can be seen expanding into newer markets with ease. Cultural diversity can be seen to encompass the division of gender, race, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion and the like.Benefits Associated with Cultural Diversity
Traditionally cultural diversity can be seen to benefit organisations and its members alike. Decision making skills improve as boosts in creativity and innovation are realised. Often product development is enhanced as is the marketing which is aided by the presence of locals who understand marketing better as they can relate to the market more than outsiders. Moreover, the recognition of diversity in itself within organisations aids in linking up various forms of talent. Another positive effect of recognising diversity is that employees feel a greater sense of belonging which aids in enhancing their commitment as well as productive efforts to drive the organisation. As outlined before, cultural diversity enables organisations to be able to compete within global markets. The real reason behind the success of multi cultural organisations is the precept of effective communication. So as long as communication is impeccable, the business impact will always be positive. However, as people from various cultural backgrounds tend to perceive messages a little differently from each other so effective two way communication is often essential to ensuring that organisational functions are efficiently executed. It must be realised that managing diversity is not merely about preventing discrimination and enhancing equality across the board. Instead cultural diversity is also composed of valuing differences in cultures and inclusion which encompasses the issues of ethnicity, race, culture, age, physical condition, religion and other similar precepts.
Another significant development is highlighted by Scott Page’s research on team diversity based on mathematical modelling. The models developed and evaluated during research proved that heterogeneous teams consistently performed better than homogenous teams on a number of varied tasks. However, the researcher has also pointed out that the management of diversity is not a simple proposition.

Athletic Events
were an integral part of the sport competitions held in the classical days. Some of the competitions of those days were the Pythian Games, the Nemean Games and the Isthmian Games, which were all the Pan-Hellenic Games. There were also the Roman Games. Athletics was also the main event in the first Summer Games.
Track And Field Events in Athletics: Track and field athletics is a collection of three sports disciplines. These disciplines are running, throwing and jumping. The origin of the name, "athletics" is the Greek word, "athlon". In Greek, the meaning of "athlon" is "contest". In some languages, track and field athletics are referred to as "light athletics" to differentiate them from the "heavy athletics". The sport events included in the "heavy athletics" are weight lifting and wrestling. The track and field athletics is more of a direct manifestation of the Olympic motto, "Citius, Altius, Fortius", which means "faster, higher, stronger".
In the present time, modern track and field athletics are generally held on a running track of 400 meters length. The track events or the running events take place on the track. The field enclosed within the track is used for staging the field events like jumping, vaulting and throwing. The athletics competitions for men and women are held separately. The distance of the sprint events are generally the same for men and women. However, the barriers in the hurdle and steeplechase events are lowered for women. The weight of the shot, javelin, hammer and discus are also less in women's competition. The track and field events are held in two different seasons.
Indoor Season - The indoor sports events are held during winter. The length of the indoor track varies from 145 meter to northamerica_unitedstates meter. However, the standard length of an indoor track is 200 meter consisting of six lanes. The indoor events in athletics are generally the same as the events held on the outdoor track except a few minor variations. The length of some sprint events and hurdle races are reduced in the indoor track. Among the field events, the javelin, hammer and discus throwing events are excluded from the indoor program. The field events held in the indoor season are the long jump, high jump, triple jump, pole vault and shot put. The northamerica_unitedstates meter, 600 meter, 1000 meter sprint, 35 pound weight throw, pentathlon, heptathlon, standing long jump and standing high jump are some of the other events in the indoor competition.
